"The only Three-One Sage ~ is but a small Tai Chi ~ generally receives the fate of a great calamity ~ shoulders immeasurable praise and honors ~....... grants blessings to resolve disasters, universally aids the living and the dead, crowned with the Tao above all heavens, grace extends through the three realms, great compassion and great vow, great saint and great mercy......."

The rhythmic chanting of sutras echoed endlessly within the spacious cave. All six disciples of Breezy Haven, including Leo Blaze, sat cross-legged on their meditation cushions, following their master's guidance during morning class.

In front of everyone, there were no sutra books. Leo Blaze could only vaguely follow along with his senior brothers.

While chanting, Leo Blaze raised his head, his gaze fixated on Master Danyang at the front. A trace of hostility emerged in his eyes, but he quickly suppressed it.

He hated this disgusting fellow, wishing he could tear his flesh and peel his skin. However, Leo Blaze knew he was too weak now to be his opponent.

The opponent was powerful, and he could not be reckless. His current priority was to remain patient and secretly look for an opportunity.

This might be fraught with difficulties and could even lead to being discovered and killed by Master Danyang, but Leo Blaze no longer cared about anything.

When he saw Master Danyang slightly turn to the side, Leo Blaze's gaze quickly moved upward, past the three tall incense sticks, towards the three statues mounted within the hollowed-out rock wall.

The three immortals, differing in appearance, wore yellow Taoist robes and held dust whisks, their eyes neither joyful nor sorrowful, watching the insignificant mortals below.

They lacked any semblance of the celestial aura, looking ordinary instead. If it weren't for the Taoist robes, they would appear merely as three large ordinary people.

Who these three statues represented, Leo Blaze did not know. Yet, he imprinted their appearances firmly in his mind.

At this moment, the chanting began to slow, and after the final passage of the sutra was recited, a child beside him heavily struck the red drum three times, signaling the end of morning class.

All the disciples stood up with Master Danyang, simultaneously pinching their left thumb with the right hand, placing the four fingers of the left hand on top of the right fingers, raising both hands above their heads to salute the statues.

After the salute, Master Danyang turned around slowly, inspecting the disciples behind him.

When he saw Leo Blaze, wearing a Taoist robe, standing calmly at the end of the group, he nodded in satisfaction.

"Xuan Yuan, Xuan Yang has just joined our sect. There must be many things he doesn't understand. As his senior brother, teach him."

"Yes, Master." A round-faced, slightly plump middle-aged man saluted Master Danyang.

"Alright, it's past the hour of Mao. If there's nothing else, go ahead and have your meal." With that, Master Danyang clasped his hands behind his back and walked towards the cave entrance.

A sullen young man wearing a mixed Yuan cap followed him out.

"That's Senior Brother Zheng Kun. Ever since Senior Brothers Zheng Kan and Zheng Zhen defected, he's been Master's only Core Disciple. Remember to respect him when you encounter him in the temple, as he's not as easygoing as Master."

Xuan Yuan walked over to Leo Blaze, explaining the man's background.

Leo Blaze nodded, "Thank you, Senior Brother Xuan Yuan, for the clarification. Does he also have abilities like Master?"

He didn't know much else, but Leo Blaze knew Master Danyang had the power to control objects, was immensely strong, and could lift stone urns weighing several hundred pounds.

But that wasn't the most concerning thing. The most concerning was that Master Danyang seemed to know everything that happened in the cave, whether Leo Blaze called him a fart or didn't agree to escape earlier.

If he truly wanted to deal with him, this must be clarified.

"He's a Core Disciple. How would I know what he's learned from Master?" Leo Blaze detected jealousy in his words.

"The strength of one person is too small. Should I find other allies within Breezy Haven?" A thought arose in Leo Blaze's mind, but it quickly extinguished.

Those with rebellious thoughts were likely eaten by the Dark Sentinel last time. Those remaining, even if not devoted to Master Danyang, were probably timid and weak.

"Let's go, we'll talk as we walk." With that, Xuan Yuan turned and led Leo Blaze toward the kitchen. "I know what you're thinking, but don't covet Master's Eternal Life Method. If it gets passed down, you'll be the last to receive it."

"Just focus on your duties. Do whatever Master instructs, and when your turn comes by seniority, it'll naturally be your turn."

By then, they had already reached the dining cave, where the earlier arriving senior brothers had begun drinking porridge.

Among them, he recognized three, two Taoists with long swords on their backs were Changming and Changren, and another he had met before, Dark Moon.

Along with Xuan Yuan and himself, Xuan Yang, all five Probationary Disciples of Breezy Haven were gathered here.

"Breezy Haven's rule: no talking while eating or sleeping. I'll teach you more after the meal," Xuan Yuan said before sitting down to drink porridge.

Leo Blaze sat down, took a sip from a black pottery bowl, and silently observed the behavior and demeanor of his senior brothers.

They all differed in appearance, neither exceptionally striking nor particularly ugly. Yet, sitting together in their Taoist robes, Leo Blaze felt something was peculiar.

It wasn't until he saw Dark Moon forcefully blow his nose towards the ground while the other two senior brothers frowned slightly that Leo Blaze realized their temperaments were different.

Some among them seemed more scholarly, while others appeared to be more physically fit as if they were used to manual labor.

"Where did Master Danyang find these five disciples? Could they have been raised like herbal activators, just like me?"

One by one, empty bowls were set down. The other senior brothers, without a glance at the newly arrived Junior Brother Xuan Yang, strode towards the exit.

After finishing the meal, Xuan Yuan continued guiding Leo Blaze around Breezy Haven, learning from them that the five Probationary Disciples were responsible for different areas within the temple.

Some managed the attendants, some handled purchasing outside the temple, others took care of the Dark Sentinel, and the more senior ones even had multiple roles.

Originally, it wasn't this busy, but after many died, their responsibilities had to be distributed among the remaining disciples.

Leo Blaze's responsibilities were naturally clear: he was in charge of everything related to the kitchen, and all their efforts were to assist Master in Achieving Eternal Life.

With the twists and turns throughout the day, Leo Blaze finally gained a detailed understanding of the entire temple from Xuan Yuan.

Leo Blaze committed these things to memory. This place was no longer an illusion he could leave at any time. Whether he could kill Master Danyang or not, this information might prove valuable.

After spending a day together, Xuan Yuan grew slightly closer to Leo Blaze. They were walking back from the Main Hall.

"Junior Brother Xuan Yang, there's no need to be so tense. Your tasks won't be that busy, and Master doesn't make elixirs every day."

"Oh? I ask for Senior Brother Xuan Yuan's clarification."

"Elixir-making is closely tied to celestial phenomena and timing. Some Elixirs must be crafted at specific times for maximum effect. For example, today and tomorrow are unsuitable for Potion Making, but the night of the day after tomorrow is an excellent time.")
